The inspiration for this picture was found when I saw another photographer's cool shot from this spot. As always, no two pictures are ever the same. I saw their shot though and was immediately drawn to this cute little pond and a small dock to sit and wait for the mountain alpenglow. Like any of my shoots, this picture was one of several from the adventure that captures a unique perspective with different lighting and taken just moments apart from the others. Every moment in the mountains and nature brings a unique opportunity for each of our lenses to capture. Hope you enjoy this beautiful alpenglow of Winter Park, Colorado.
