Every year I make my way to Maroon Bells in different seasons to enjoy the changing scenery. The roped off area has changed over the years and each season brings it's unique advantages and colors. This particular trip was one that I arrived super early with lots of gear and set up for the sunrise. The sunrise reflects on the mountains and changes through out it's rising. It highlights the maroon or purple of the mountains in different ways that changes right in front of you. That alone is amazing, but the reflection of this entire shoot was amazing. I named this one sun kissed given the vibrant pink tops of the iconic Maroon Bells in Aspen, Colorado.
